LIGA MX-2013 Apertura; Week 12
PUEBLA, Mexico- Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente allowed goals in each half in a 2-0 loss to host Puebla FC in a Week 12 match of the LIGA MX-2013 Apertura Sunday at Estadio Cuauhtemoc.
Gutavo Alustiza scored in the 23rd minute and Carlos Sanchez scored in the 84th minute for Puebla.
Coach Jorge Almiron’s team came out looking for its first win on the road in this tournament but Puebla was able to keep a clean net against Club Tijuana.
The Xoloitzcuintles will now travel to Mexico City Tuesday Oct. 1 to visit Club America in a Week 2 match of the LIGA MX-2013. The game is a makeup match after it was postponed earlier in the season. The Xoloitzcuintles will then return to Tijuana to host Queretaro FC Friday Oct. 4 at Estadio Caliente in a Week 14 match.
