Great reception for Club Tijuana at the Airport
TIJUANA –Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente arrived in Tijuana in the morning on Saturday June 1st after its quarterfinals second leg match of the 2013 Copa Bridgestone Libertadores against Club Atletico Mineiro of Brazil to a great reception by its fans.
The Xoloitzcuintles were welcomed by hundreds of loyal fans at Tijuana’s International Airport who showed their unconditional support.
Club Tijuana thanks its fans for its great support during the 2012-2013 season in which they were a key factor in helping the team reach the dream of winning the 2012 Apertura LIGA MX title and reaching the quarterfinals of the Copa Libertadores.
These accomplishments help Club Tijuana to remain in constant preparation for its next commitments and competitions. The 2013 Apertura of the LIGA MX and the start of the CONCACAF Champions League are approaching. Club Tijuana will represent Mexico in that tournament and try to qualify for the FIFA Club World Cup. The Xoloitzcuintles senior team begins the preseason June 19 at Estadio Caliente.
