SPECIAL MEET AND GREET WITH THE XOLOGIRLS
The official Club Tijuana cheerleading team visits El Refugio Convalescent home
TIJUANA –Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente made a special visit to the “El Refugio” convalescent home Saturday Aug. 31 at the colonia rl Jibarito.
The team’s official cheerleading team “XoloGirls” was part of the visit. They were there to donate the items collected during the “Make a grandmother happy” collection that took place Aug. 22 in which more than 4,000 items, such as depends, wheelchairs, walkers and other items, were collected. The XoloGirls were at the convalescent home to celebrate the day of the grandparent.
The XoloGirls helped in the kitchen, served food, listened to the elderly tell stories, danced and spent time with some of the sick tenants during Saturday’s visit. The cheerleaders then finished the event with a great choreography.
