Club Tijuana faces CD Guadalajara in Week 10 match of LIGA MX-2013 Apertura

GUADALAJARA –Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente arrived and settled into “La Perla Tapatia” to face the last phase of preparation heading into its Week 10 match of the LIGA MX-2103 Apertura against CD Guadalajara Sunday Sept. 15 at Estadio Omnilife (3 p.m. Pacific).


 


After a morning training session at Estadio Caliente, coach Jorge Almiron’s team traveled South to Guadalajara for its next match. The Xoloitzcuintles trained on the grass field adjacent to Estadio Caliente. Almiron spoke to the media about the upcoming match.


 


“It will be a difficult game,” Almiron said. “We know that there will be good attendance at the stadium and it will be a good game to play. It is an ideal game to get in route towards qualifying (to the playoffs). We are facing a marquee team in a nice stadium.”


 


Almiron also talked about the Xoloitzcuintles plan against CD Guadalajara.


 


“We are going to go out and get a good result and manage the game the best we can, win and get the three points playing a good game,” Almiron said. “We can’t lose any more points and we are a motivated team. We have great experienced, quality players to get the three points. The team has played well on the road in Monterrey  and in Chiapas. We took a lead. Now we had a long week to prepare and work on many aspects. We are motivated.”  


 


The Xoloitzcuintles arrived to Guadalajara in the evening and it will finish training Saturday before facing Chivas.
