Xolo Mayor visits “Lirio de los Valles” group home
TIJUANA –Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente once again showed its affection for the citizens of Tijuana Wednesday Sept. 25 when it visited the “Lirio de los Valles” group home. The team official mascot Xolo Mayor was present to play and animate the children of the organization.
A great atmosphere surrounded the event in which the mascot was sought out by the kids as they played a game of soccer with all those in attendance in the home located in Playas de Tijuana.
Lirio de Valles works with 48 kids from ages 6 months to 19 who have experienced violence with their previous families and homes, lived on the street or lived with dysfunctional families. The organization serves as an avenue to have a place to live and a place to feel valued under an atmosphere that allows them to develop with different recreational activities.
