LIGA Bancomer MX-2014 Clausura: Week 6
TIJUANA –Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente scored second half goals to beat Rayados de Monterrey 2-1 in a Week 6 match of the LIGA Bancomer MX-2104 Friday night at Estadio Caliente.
Dario Benedetto and Cristian Pellerano scored for the Xoloitzcuintles (3-2-1). Bendetto came on as a seconf half sub in the 60th minute and scored via a header 15 minutes later.
Pellerano scored in the 86th minute off a header sent from just out side the six-yard box by Juan Hernandez.
The Xoloitzcuintles eran three more points in the standings with the win Friday night, moving to 10 points for the season after six matches.
Club Tijuana continues with its unbeaten streak at Estadio Caliente, winning its last three home matches.
The Xoloitzcuintles will now travel to Torreon to visit Santos Laguna Friday Feb. 14 (7:30 p.m. Pacific).
