LIGA Bancomer MX-2014 Clausura; Week 10



TIJUANA –Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente’s Under-17 allowed scores in each half after taking a two goal lead in a 2-2 draw against visiting Club Deportivo Guadalajara Friday in a Week 10 match of the LIGA Bancomer MX-2104 Clausura at Estadio Caliente.


 The Xoloitzcuintles jumped out to an early lead when forward Daniel Marquez scored a goal in the 4th minute.


Luis Gerardo Chavez made it 2-0 in the 28th minute, which put Club Tijuana in a comfortable situation while creating several scoring opportunities. But Guadalajara’s Julio Morales scored for in the 44th minute to shorten the home team lead.


 In the second half, Chivas modified its formation and began attacking with four forwards looking to tie the game.


It did just that in the 67th minute. Carlos Cisneros tied the game with a spectacular free kick goal that caught the Xoloitzcuintles off guard.


With this result, Club Tijuana, moves to 5th place in the tournament standings with a 3-1-5 record and next week they will travel to face Cruz Azul’s U-20.
