CLUB TIJUANA LOOKING TO 2014-2015 SEASON

The Xoloitzcuintles report to preseason camp June 4th

TIJUANA –Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente began its path to the 204-2015 season in Mexican professional soccer as it heads into the LIGA Bancomer MX-2104 Apertura and will also play in the 2014 Copa MX.


Club Tijuana enters a resting period after a long 2013-2014 campaign that included a quarterfinals appearance in the 2014 Clausura.Coach Cesar Farias talked about the good development and output set by the team this past season.


“We had a good season in which we had good results and we competed at a high level in the tournaments we played in,” Farias said. “But our team never settles for less and we don’t stay quiet. We are already thinking about the start of preparations for the next tournaments. We want to play an attractive style of soccer, sometimes we don’t win but we always give it everything we have.”


Club Tijuana’s first tea returns to work June 4 when it opens its preseason camp.


“We will give a list of the possible moves within the team in the coming weeks,” Farias said. “We will deeply analyze things to have additions and also see about possible transfers for the Mexican soccer draft.”


The Venezuelan head coach thanked Club Tijuana fans for its great support throughout the season.


“We want to thank them for being behind us the last few months,” Farias said. “We know that our fans are with us but we also know that they want to see good soccer. We look to give them great moments but we also know there are things we need to work on and we are putting our best effort to do that. We will look to return to great moments in Tijuana.”
