PRESEASON PREPARATIONS CONTINUE
Club Tijuana moves on with preseason training
TIJUANA –Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente entered the second week of its preseason training at Estadio Caliente. Players reported to camp last week and have gone through several practices.
The Xoloitzcuintles held a double session Wednesday June 11 where it worked on some soccer tactics and fitness drills. Club Tijuana heads into the LIGA Bancomer MX 2014 Apertura tournament, which begins July 18 with a home match against Puebla FC.
Meanwhile coach Cesar Farias’ squad is getting ready for its upcoming preseason matches, including the San Diego Clasico. The Xoloitzcuintles will face Cruz Azul in an exhibition match at Petco Park July 12 in the nightcap of a doubleheader featuring Dorados de Sinaloa against Club America in the first match.
Club Tijuana will continue with its preseason preparations with training sessions throughout this week.
