MORNING PRACTICE AT ESTADIO CALIENTE
Telcel customers and employees visit Xoloitzcuintles practice
TIJUANA –Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente trained on the grassy field next to Estadio Caliente Wednesday Sept. 3 where it continued under the leadership of head coach Daniel “Travieso” Guzman and his coaching staff.
Coach Guzman’s players worked under the tutelage of assistant coaches Mauricio Gonzalez and Octavio Mora. The Xoloitzcuintles went through some conditioning and fitness drills and a long soccer scrimmage session with “Travieso” watching every play.
Meanwhile, Alan Alarcon, the new fitness coach, and goalkeepers coach Oscar Dautt also were part of the training session.
SPECIAL VISIT DURING PRACTICE
The Estadio Caliente doors were opened during the Xoloitzcuintles training session Wednesday for Telcel employees and customers.
Gusavo Diaz, the Marketing manager for Telcel, was happy with the way his organization and customers were received at the morning practice. He talked about the partnership between both organizations.
“We have seven years with the Xolos ever since the Liga de Ascenso,” Diaz said. “We have always felt mutual support from the team and the company. It is good for us to give our customers the chance to be with the players, their idols. It is great to bring our customer the joy of being here. It is also important to us to have our best employees here and reward them for their sales.”
The players were able to meet those visiting and witness the support its fans have to give in return for being part of the community.
