Xoloitzcuintles coach talks Week 8 match vs. Pachuca FC
TIJUANA –Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente arrived in Pachuca Thursday Sept. 11 after a layover in Mexico City. The Xoloitzcuintles are on the road to face Pachuca FC in a Week 8 match of the LIGA Bancomer MX Saturday Sept. 13 (6:06 p.m. Pacific) at Estadio Hidalgo.
Coach Daniel Guzman spoke with the media prior to the team boarding its flight at the Tijuana International Airport.
“We are confident because these last 15 days that we were with the players they accepted the work we put in and when you work every aspect you see that the team doesn’t have a doubt,” Guzman said. “We will try to have a good game. We will try to win on the road and plant a seed. That is the challenge we will have for ourselves.”
When asked about returning to coaching, the Xoloitzcuintles head coach was excited to talk about facing this new challenge.
The Xoloitzcuintles starting 11 are Cirilo Saucedo, Javier Gandolfi, Hernan Pellerano, Gregory Garza, Israel Jimenez, Javier Guemez, Juan Arango, Joe Corona, Richard Ruiz, Alfredo Moreno and Dayro Moreno.
