BACK TO TRAINING

Club Tijuana worked on fitness as it prepares to host Queretaro

TIJUANA –Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente returned to practice Monday Oct. 13 after being off Sunday as it prepares to host Gallos Blancos del Queretaro Friday Oct. at Estadio Caliente.

The Xoloitzcuintles worked with fitness coach Alan Alarcon during the morning practice, going through aerobic exercises, mobility exercises and ball technique.

Head Coach Daniel Guzman continued with the same line of work during the training session. He divided the group into four teams to work in reduced spaces and worked on more technique.

Club Tijuana players then focused on working on free kicks and penalty kicks during what appeared to be a good atmosphere amid the players.

The training session ended with a stretching period and some players worked out in the gym.

The Xoloitzcuintles will continue with its week preparations with a practice Tuesday 9 a.m. at Estadio Caliente. Tickets to the match against Queretaro remain on sale at the stadium box office, official stores and www.ticketmaster.com.mx.
