CONCACAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE DRAW COMPLETED
Club Tijuana draws into Group 7 of the 2013-14 CONCACAF tournament.
MIAMI –Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente drew into Group 7 of the 2013-14 CONCACAF Champions League Monday June 3 after the North, Central American and Caribbean soccer governing body held the tournament draw in Miami.
The Xoloitzcuintles came into the draw as a head of group in the international tournament and drew into the same group with Club Deportivo Victoria of Honduras and Club Deportivo Luis Angel Firpo of El Salvador.
Club Tijuana fans have highly anticipated this competition and it they will be able to enjoy these international matches at Estadio Caliente during the group stage of the tournament featuring 24 teams from North and Central America and the Caribbean. There are eight groups of three teams which will play a home-and-home series against each team in its group during the first stage.
Meanwhile, Club Tijuana will return to the field at Estadio Caliente June 19 to begin its preseason heading into the LIGA MX 2013 Apertura tournament and the CONCACAF Champions League. Dates and times are yet to be announced for both tournaments.
