A GOOD SCRIMMAGE

CULIACAN, Mexico –Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente’s Under-20 played to a 4-3 loss in an intersquad scrimmage against Dorados de Sinaloa’s U-20 squad in a preseason match up Saturday Dec. 21.

The Club Tijuana U-20 team was coached by Diego Torres and Francisco Ramirez coached the Dorados squad in a game that helped both coaches take a look at their starters against each other.

The Xoloitzcuintles took the lead in the third minute with a score by Oliver Ortiz and took a 2-0 lead with a goal by Edgar Villegas. Dorados tied the match with goals in the 54^th and 57^th minute with goals by Javier Collins. Hector Velazquez game Dorados a 3-2 lead in the 64^th minute while Alberto Garcia answered with a goal of his own in the 79^th minute and a 3-3 tie. Rai Aguirre sent in the game winner for Dorados in the 87^th minute.

Both teams are preparing for their upcoming seasons in the 2014 Clausura tournament beginning in January. The Xoloitzcuintles Under-20 will now return to Tijuana for the final part of the preseason.
