Estadio Caliente will be host to Bajaton closing ceremony
TIJUANA –Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente reassured its commitment to the community of Baja California Wednesday July 16 with a news conference announcing its support for the construction of a CRIT in the state.
Along with Grupo Caliente, Club Tijuana will close the fundraising campaign organized by DIF President Brenda Ruacho de Vega. “For a DIF in Baja California” is the slogan of the campaign that includes a Bajaton fundraiser to take place at Estadio Caliente Aug. 2 at 4 p.m.
Lepoldo Estrada, representing Grupo Caliente, spoke about contributing to the cause.
“Grupo Caliente has shown an interest in helping since the start and we continue to do so,” Estrada said. “We have interest in helping in every aspect possible.”
Ruacho de la Vega talked about the great support the Xoloitzcuintles have provided to the cause.
“We specially thank the Xoloitzcuintles, a team determined to contribute with this cause that looks to close out with a great party,”Raucho de la Vega said.
More than 25,000 people are expected to be part of the closing ceremonies that will include music and different fun activities. Musical acts include Banda El Recodo, los Recoditos, Banda Aguacaliente and Syon, who will interpret the official CRIT BC song.
