XOLOITZCUINTLES UNDER-20 BEGINS LIGA MAX-2013 APERTURA PRESEASON
Club Tijuana U-20 2-4 Dorados de Sinaloa; preseason friendly
TIJUANA –Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente’s Under-20 team began the LIGA MX-2013 Apertura preseason with a 4-2 loss to Dorados de Sinaloa Saturday June 22 at Estadio Caliente.
Club Tijuana played in what was a dynamic game in which the Xoloitzcuintles showed promising signs on various aspects of the game. Paul Arriola socred his first goal as a Xoloitzcuintles when he sent the ball into the net in the 23rd minute. Dorados scored via a penalty kick in the 38th minute with Jesus Padilla sending the ball in to tie the game. Hector Velazquez made it 2-1 in the 42nd minute.
Former Xoloitzcuintles striker Raul Enriquez gave Dorados a 3-1 lead in the 65th minute off a play pass by Luis Alberto Orozco, who also played with Club Tijuana a few seasons ago. Bryan Ayon scored in the 78th minute for the Xoloitzcuintles and Pablo Meza ended the scoring in the 88th to seal the win for coach Francisco Ramirez’ team.
Club Tijuana’s U-20 will continue with preseason training sessions in Tijuana.
