Club Tijuana signs partnership with SEDESOE
TIJUANA –Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente continues to add to its effort to help Baja California and proof of it came Thursday July 25 when it signed a partnership with the SEDESOE. The deal was signed at the media news conference room at Estadio Caliente.
During the presentation, Club Tijuana’s Director of Marketing and Juan Ramon Medina of the “Subsecretario de Desarrollo Social” talked about the new challenge these two organizations will take on as a unit during the LIGA MX 2013 Apertura season.
“We will begin a series of actions that involve and help society,” de Anda said. “We want to generate a direct impact to families where we can create a strong support to different social groups that the SEDEDOE works with.”
Medina talked about the importance of having both institutions in this project.
“It is very important to us to join Club Tijuana’s efforts and help create various actions and events to advocate social development. As the state government, we want to announce that we want to join social groups to what the Xoloitzcuintles have to give such as school supplies, seats and special events with players.”
De Anda added about what the partnership will bring.
“We are convinced that winning is done not just on the field but off it,” de Anda said. “That is what we want to do. We want to win next to SEDESOE.”
The first thing the two institutions will do together is Tuesday July 30 when the Xoloitzcuinltes face Pachuca FC. Children from the “Santa Teresita del Niño Jesus” group home will get to watch the match live at the stadium.
