Club Tijuana and UETA Duty Free hold autograph session
SAN DIEGO – Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente crossed the border to meet with loyal fans at the UETA Duty Free Store in the Las Americas Premium Outlets in San Ysidro.
The proud Xoloitzcuintles sponsor UETA Duty Free opened its doors for a special autograph session Wednesday afternoon. Fans had the opportunity to meet their favorite players. Team Captain Javier Gandolfi, Alfredo ‘Chango’ Moreno, Oliver Ortiz and Alejandro Guido were there to take part in the festivities.
The club’s official mascot “Xolo Mayor” and the team’s cheerleading group, the Xolo Girls set the atmosphere by giving away Club Tijuana signed photos and calendars. Music played in the background by a local radio station that promoted the event and gave out autographed shirts while fans waited for players to arrive.
More than 200 people took part in the event at the Club Store in Las Americas Premium Outlets located along the United - States Mexico border. This is the second autograph session for the 2014 year at this location and both Club Tijuana and UETA are committed to continuing to create such events for the community.
